Alasdair Mackenzie, CEO

Mr. Mackenzie served 24 years as an FBI agent in various assignments including as a criminal profiler in their Behavioral Analysis Unit. Mr. Mackenzie retired as the Criminal Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Richmond Field Office. After retiring from the FBI, Mr. Mackenzie worked in Global Corporate Security for Bank of America for 8 years as their Threat Management Team Leader and Senior Threat Mitigation Specialist with their Security Preparedness Team . He also served on the Bank’ s Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Task Forces. He is a Certified Threat Manager (Association of Threat Assessment Professionals). Prior to the FBI, Mr. Mackenzie served as a Virginia State Trooper and a Fairfax County Police Sergeant for 8 years.

Melissa McRae, Managing Director

During her twenty year career with the FBI, Ms. McRae specialized in investigating and overseeing National Security and Criminal computer intrusions, Internet Fraud, Insider Threats, and Theft of Trade Secrets. Ms. McRae served as the FBI’s Cyber Assistant Legal Attaché in Canada, collaborating with Canadian law enforcement and public sector partners on high profile Cyber investigations targeting major cyber threat groups impacting critical infrastructure and human safety. For her efforts, Ms. McRae received the 2018 FBI Director’s Award for International Excellence. Ms. McRae also served as Special Advisor to the Operational Technology Division Deputy Assistant Director where she provided guidance and assistance on critical and complex technological initiatives.

Melissa is currently a licensed Private Investigator in the state of Virginia and provides consultation and training on various Cyber related matters.

David Swanson, Managing Director

David Swanson served 26 years with the FBI conducting investigations in investment fraud, financial institution fraud, corporate fraud, health care fraud, money laundering and terrorism matters. As a FBI certified polygraph examiner, he also conducted over 1,000 polygraphs for the FBI. After his retirement, Mr. Swanson spent 3 years with the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) where he investigated government fraud, contract fraud, public corruption, and money laundering. Mr. Swanson later worked with the U.S. Attorney’s Office investigating civil matters and spent the past 2 years as an internal investigator with Capital One in Richmond.

David Swanson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a licensed Private Investigator in the state of Virginia. He is a graduate of the U.S. Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (now the National Center for Credibility Assessment) and is currently a licensed polygraph examiner in the state of Virginia.

William F. Frank, Jr., Managing Director

Bill retired as a Special Agent from the FBI in 2015 after serving 24 years. During his time he investigated a variety of federal and state cases while assigned to the Louisville FBI’s Owensboro Resident Agency. He later transferred to the Richmond FBI Office where he led a multi-agency violent crime task force and worked Public Corruption matters. He served as Richmond’s Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Coordinator. Bill is a registered Private Investigator in Virginia and has conducted investigations involving private clients as well as being appointed to investigate matters in the Circuit Courts of Virginia and Federal Court in the Eastern District of Virginia. Prior to the FBI, Bill was a Chesterfield County, Virginia, Police Officer, Detective and Sergeant.

R.D. Huber, Managing Director

Rick Huber served 26 years with the FBI, including assignments in the El Paso, Texas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Richmond, Virginia Field Divisions.  He has investigated a variety of federal and state crimes in the areas of public corruption, national security, and violent crime.

 Rick served as the Technical Surveillance Advisor for the FBI offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Richmond, Virginia.  He retired from the FBI as a Supervisory Special Agent at FBI Headquarters in Quantico, Virginia.

 Prior to working for the FBI, Rick was a Special Agent with the North Carolina State Department of Public Safety.  Rick is currently a registered Private Investigator in the State of Virginia and a fluent Spanish speaker.
